Cleo’s Bodega & Café, located at Flanner House, is a community grocery and café that provides fresh, affordable food, locally grown produce, and a welcoming space that supports food access and neighborhood connection.

Flanner Farms is a seven-acre urban farm on the Flanner House campus that grows fresh, local produce to combat food insecurity. It provides healthy food access, hands-on learning, and community engagement while supporting workforce development and food justice initiatives.

Morningstar is Flanner House’s youth development and enrichment program, designed to nurture academic growth, leadership skills, and cultural pride. It provides children and teens with safe, engaging opportunities to learn, build confidence, and connect with their community.

The Center for Working Families at Flanner House helps individuals and families achieve financial stability through career coaching, job training, financial education, and access to supportive resources. It empowers community members to build long-term success and economic independence.

The Child Development Center at Flanner House provides high-quality early childhood education and care. It supports children’s social, emotional, and academic growth while giving families a safe, nurturing environment that builds a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Ujamaa Community Bookstore at Flanner House is a Black-owned, community-centered bookstore that celebrates African American culture and voices. It offers books, art, and events that uplift diverse stories while serving as a gathering space for learning, connection, and cultural pride.
